Baske, a beach blanket company, with a desire to establish a strong brand presence and increase market share. The company recognized the potential in the growing beach accessory industry and sought to differentiate itself through a compelling brand identity and an effective marketing campaign. The brief for this project asked for a logo, sub-logo, and mailer design that did not use the colour yellow.

The primary goal was to create a brand that resonates with the target audience—beach enthusiasts seeking quality, style, and functionality in their beach blankets. Simultaneously, we aimed to increase brand awareness and drive sales through a comprehensive marketing strategy.

Baske - Sun, Sand, and Branding Success

Brand Identity Development

We began by understanding Baske's core values and unique selling points. The brand identity was crafted to embody the essence of sun, sea, and relaxation. A vibrant yet sophisticated colour palette, inspired by beach sunsets and ocean hues, was chosen to evoke a sense of fun and adventure.

Logo Design

The logo was meticulously designed to encapsulate the brand's spirit. A playful word mark for the main logo and a stylized beach blanket for the sub-logo work together to create a memorable visual. The colours and organic lines were influenced by a 1970s design aesthetic, adding a touch of nostalgia to the feel of the designs.

Product Packaging

To create a memorable unboxing experience, I designed packaging that reflected the brand's identity. Each blanket came in a reusable, eco-friendly tote bag with the Baske logo prominently displayed. The packaging not only protected the product but also served as an additional marketing tool, encouraging customers to reuse the bag for beach outings.

A blend of aesthetics, functionality, and a strong online presence has positioned Baske as a go-to brand for beach lovers seeking both style and substance.
