When the master soap maker at Dirty Girl Soap Co. approached me about designing labels for their new product line, it was clear that the new Queen Line wasn't just a brand; it was a declaration of empowerment, sophistication, and timeless elegance. Designed for women ready to embrace their inner queen, the labels had to embody the regal aspirations of the target audience while reflecting the company's commitment to organic, clean ingredients.
Designing for the Queen
The Queen Line’s target market is women who exude wisdom and power at any age. These discerning individuals seek products that align with their values of authenticity and quality. They understand the importance of self-care and appreciate the rejuvenating benefits of natural ingredients.
Design Goals:

Design Process
Research and Inspiration: I began by diving into the world of femininity, wisdom, and power, exploring historical and contemporary symbols to infuse the designs with grace and authority.
Concept Exploration: I crafted three unique concepts: the first exploring botanical drawings, the second blending geometric lines with the fluidity of water ripples, and the third exuding classical elegance with regal undertones.
Final Design Selection: After thoughtful consideration, the client chose the second concept, which she felt aligned perfectly with the brand's ethos.
